BlogBook 101

Dear Readers,

I apologize sincerely for a very fortunate, yet fortunate situation pertaining to me. I love this blog wholeheartedly. I know I've said that many times, but its only cause I mean it, and it IS from my heart. This is the one place I enjoy letting my thoughts and feelings run free to and with those who read. When I am so stressed out from friends, family, school, life in general, I reach the keyboard, and my fingers tingle with excitement every time I begin on a piece. As soon as my fingers start working away, my mind is at ease, and every mind boggling, "slap" of situations are easily forgotten. I am somehow, 'de-stressed'.

So here I am writing this away, with the mere 9 minutes I am given. Why? Because poor me, C here, has a strict study schedule. This is to curb my lazy ways, and grow more determination and discipline. Which is really good for anyone in general. So here is a short summary of what is going on with me.

1) I have not been doing extremely well in all my subjects
2) This has caused a study plan to be born.
3) This study plan is terribly hectic, and tiring.
4) I want to fulfill this study plan for the month of April to set my discipline.
5) It would be my greatest accomplishment!
6) This means I have to study for 4 hours.
7) This means I have to record what I do every minute of the day.
8) This means I can't spend as much time with this beloved blog.
9) This means I would be focusing on my exams.
10) This means I am a bit sad.

So this source of rant would be really limited for I would be forced to submit to this schedule. My outlet is currently shut. I don't know how I would burst, but I sure would. I am not complaining, but I really would miss surfing the internet for hours, just to find the perfect story to string together in my 'blog post' aka pieces. I have thus devised a system for the blog's benefit.

INTRODUCING... BLOGBOOK!
Definition: A notebook where I would handwrite my pieces on, any time of the day.
Objective: Save me more typing time as my pieces are pre-written.
Benefits:
  1.  I would be able to record any random feelings, happenings at any time of the day!
  2. I would be able to post my pieces.
Downside:
  1. Pre-planned/written writings are stale. (They leave a bad taste in my brain)
  2. Pre-planned/written pieces are possibly boring for a writer. (There's no in the MOMENT spur)
  3. It would get less interesting for me as a writer
Possible Downside counter-balances:
  1. Post on weekends (I AM FREE TO POST!!)
  2. Post small bits and big bits on weekends
  3. Twitter (I don't approve of twitter over blog though)
I really gotta go now. This is way more than 8 minutes. Grahh.

Thank you for reading this. Please comment any Any ANy ANY ANY ANY ideas you have at all! Thanks!

Im afraid I may develop HRDD. Hyper-rushed D Disorder. I have no idea what I'm saying, but you get the picture!!

That Girl.

There was a girl I knew who always wanted to be the one to stand out from the crowd
Always believed that she was gonna live her dreams
That what went down was gonna come around
For all the doubters, non-believers, the cynical that once were dreamers
One of these days you'll open up your eyes
And you'll realize

[Chorus:]
That girl was a one time teenage drama queen
A hot, tough everyday wannabe
But she'll have changed her destiny
Now she's a somebody
That girl was a wild child dreamer but she'll find herself
'Cause she believes in nothin' else
And you'll look back and you won't believe
That girl was me

Armed with an attitude that she knows how to use
She's gonna get there any way she can
Now she knows what she wants
No one is gonna stop her
Nothing's ever gonna hold her down
For all the doubters, non-believers the cynical that once were dreamers
One of these days you'll know that you were wrong (who would've know)

[Chorus]

[Spoken]
Life is a work of art- you gotta paint it colorful
Can make it anything you want
Don't have to stick to any rules
You don't need a high IQ to succeed in what you do
You just gotta have no doubt just believe in yourself

Doubters, non-believers, once were dreamers
One of these days you'll open up your eyes
And you'll realize

[Chorus 2X]

I wanna be that girl. I wanna be that somebody, even if its gonna take me forever. Yes. My dream was to be the exact girl in the movie, long before It came out. Yes. Even the drama. Yes. Everything. Don't you wish sometimes that your life was scripted by yourself, with risks and adrenaline BLOWING adventures (minus the lying). Yes, ADVENTURES. Running around after a concert, looking for an after party. Yes. Its been my dream to live in New York, you all who live there don't know how lucky you are.

My dream is to live on the Upper East Side in a 2-story Loft, a condo, or Townhouse when I am much settled down. Walking the streets of New York in a Christian Louboutins just bought, a notebook and a french beret. Cycling to Madison Square Gardens, shopping at Saks fifth Ave. Yes, I love it. If you've watched teen cribs, you probably seen beautiful architectures they call their home, but I would love to live in the heart of the city, where opportunity is at it's peak.

My perfect UES house, is a 2 story Loft, with a bed room on top, and the rest of the home down stairs, a cozy fireplace located right beneath a 42-inch television set hidden by a retractable art piece, with built in surround speakers everywhere. A nice somewhat big kitchen, a grand balcony overlooking the streets. This is the place I'll be living in for the youngest, and most fulfilled years of my life, where I'll be working hard.

Then, when I have retired from all the hard work, I'll move to a Townhouse, not too far, or maybe even a large penthouse. Let's stick with the Townhouse for now. I'll be old and maybe married, my house would be filled with priceless European pieces of which I would collect over my life long years, then, when I am eating into my 50s, I'll move to the UK and live there until I have grandchildren or something, and then, back to Singapore.

I will live in these two amazing places I've been wanting to all my life. What is your perfectly planned out life? Where is the one place you'd wanna live in? What do you want your life to be?

"You'll be amazed what hard work, imagination, and a little luck would bring you..." - Get A Clue

Is it me, or has Lindsay Lohan acted in many inspirational movies? Hope she finds her break through soon!

Shoes of Prey ft Spurred.

The title is quite uncanny. Yes, Shoes of Prey. The funny thing was the word 'prey', by definition, a prey is - (noun) an animal hunted and killed by for food; a victim or quarry. Quarry being a person or thing being chased or sought. So in other words, Shoes of Hunted, maybe hunted means those being sought after, like celebrities and such, but I think, Shoes of Prey, is sooo much better than finding your favourite celebrities' shoes or what not, its like shoe haven for those who can't get enough of shoes...(Not really me, but..) Here's an info about Shoes of Prey >>> aboutSHOESofPrey

This would be a step by step guide of how to start of shoes of prey!

This is the first page, click the Start Designing Button, or Click Here
You should reach a page like the following....>>>

This is where the fun starts! There are already basic cuts for a shoes, for example,
Left to Right, Top to Bottom: Gladiator Heels, Round Toe with Platforms, Round Toe, Wedge, Pointy Toe, Ballet Flats.
And, you come to a page looking like....

A plain template is given, ready for you to decorate, recreate, color, recolor till the cows come home.

Play around with the features. You can change to look of the shoes with each design! I chose Closed toe with top patch. Covered back with a mary jane strap. Finished with a bow.

You can change the color, but the colors vary depending on the texture and materials you use. These materials range from
Fish Skin
Snake Skin
Soft Leather
Shiny Leather
Patent Leather
Suede
Hair

Click Purchase and you're good to go!

You will come to your shopping cart, listing you design and the price! Click Click Click all the way!!
You can click the pictures of your shoes to arrive at a summary page of the design like so...

You can even share it on social sites like Twitter and Facebook!

You can change your currency so it is easier for you, however, the downside is that there is no worldwide currencies. Only a limit, but they DO ship worldwide! Should you not be satisfied, there is a money back guarantee when you return the shoe, but you do have to pay the shipping fees.

Personally, I cannot express how amazingly genius this idea is! I believe there are many out there who would definitely agree, that finding the perfect shoe for the perfect outfit is incredulously impossible at times. There's only so much a shoe designer can design, and there's so much MORE in the heads of shoe fanatics (again, Not always me). You can buy all the brands you want, Jimmy Choo, Alexander Mcqueen, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chole, Fendi, ANYTHING, but there's always this one shoe you're dying to find, and you search from Salvation Armies, to Second Hand stores, to Blogshops, retail outlets, the list goes on. You just cannot find that pair, just THAT pair. It becomes immensely unsatisfying and annoying, the shoe fiend breaks out. You cannot stop buying shoes in search for THAT pair.

Shoes of Prey has offered an answer. A design website for those who want to recreate the shoes in their imagination. The reality of the shoe and the design are like this example, a nude looking high-heeled shoes. They are actually pale pink and pink leather. You can visit the gallery for more designed shoes, just roll over the pictures, and you'll see these shoes' graphic counterparts.

It is simply amazing, awe-inspiring, ingenious, magnificent even!

However, every amazing idea has its loopholes. This designing site only allows fanatics of wedges, ballet flats, high heeled peep toes and the trend-making gladiators. If you can't get enough of stilettos, boots or wicked looking Prada shoes (You know, the futuristic ones), you'll have to settle for second best for now. Those wicked, crazy and imaginative awesome ideas, are too much for the real world to handle, so keep those amazing thoughts in your head, and start a Crazy shoe site! If you do, be sure to email me the link so I can plat with your site!

This Shoes of Preys post was inspired by Youtube Guru Juicystar07's video. Her giveaway is over, but I felt this video deserved some credit, so please do watch out for such giveaway!

On the whole, this site receives a ★★★★☆!

I have to be honest here, I was a bit angry 2 days ago. I was posting this full long, well paced, well thought out piece of writing, and I am so frustrated because when I tried to publish, there were technicality problems, and it was not even saved. You can NOT imagine how pissed I was after spending two whole hours on a post. (Yes, I do take THAT long, every piece means something to me, and I am not going to post for postings' sake) I was a bit upset for a minute, sad, believe it or not, it was quite depressing, and I just wanted to give up there and then, but I took a short break, and then today, when I decided to look at my blog, just to read it, (Yes, I do read my own work!) I saw 4 MORE followers!

Firstly, I want to state that this post is indeed a thank you for those who follow me. If it weren't for these additions to my following list, I may have waited even longer to post. I won't deny, I love having followers, it is nice to know that people are reading my work. I believe fellow bloggers may agree with me, or maybe its just me. I have already stated in my previous post how grateful I am to have my first two dear followers, and I  couldn't agree and more, or less with "The more the merrier". Who ever came up with that, is absolutely right in the topic I'm driving at.

So this is a great big thank you for following me, Sharifa, Aia. E, Bianca - CACTUSFASHION and Kylene, and especially Aia E. and Bianca for the first words of encouragement! It is a pleasure to see such comments! Thanks for being such nice people!

My mood: ☻☻☻☻☻

P.S. Food for thought, how do you do your shopping planning?? - As in like, when you have a budget, and you want loads of stuff, what do you plan to buy first?

P.P.S. Any suggestions for blog topics? -if you would like to read my views on certain topics, just comment below with a link to the article/site/picture/post etc.!

P.P.P.S. What would you buy for an older brother-like friend's birthday? - For an older guy friend... Shoes? Guitar? Cologne? Bagpack?

P.P.P.P.S. I don't want to leave this post. Please rate it!

A Day Out, Night IN, and Followers!

It was a bizarrely cool morning today, little did I know what the weather had in store for me. Bullets of rain. After some lessons and a test, I went home to change, and immediately left for the shopping mall to meet up with a couple friends, hang out, and return to one of their houses for a movie marathon. More like a micro-mini movie marathon. I watched 1 and a half movies. Man of the House and Night at the Museum.

If you like comedy, romance, thriller and family all rolled into one? Watch those two. Its really a good watch, especially Man of the House.

I thoroughly enjoy going out, walking a bit, just hanging out. Even if it were by myself. Where I come from, Teen Vogue, isn't exactly everywhere. I go to nearly every public magazine booth, kiosks, and even drugstores. None. Zilch. Some kiosk and booth owners, never HEARD of it. I was suffering. I was craving for a new copy so badly. Now you see, I'm not the 'regular' reader. I read as I flow, as I feel, as I have the urge. I had the urge for some time already.

It was such a beautiful day, despite the rain, and so, I go on my mission of observation, critique, and self thoughts. Haven't you sit on a train, only to realize time literally FLEW because you were making comments to yourself about the person sitting next, opposite or near you for that matter? Well, I'm the kind of person that does that, and believe me, it IS quite therapeutic. It is one of the many MANY reasons I enjoy going out alone, or be on my own. Its also quite healthy for a person in general to be isolated from a familiar social circle.

The latest trends on the streets today, are Doc Martens, or Doc Martens look-a-likes, or boot-like skater/army shoes. They are often, in my opinion unglamorously paired with super short shorts like so...

Disclaimer: I have nothing against this girl of her dressing,
Just that I see people dressing like this a lot. (I like her hair)

Yep, there were certainly shorter shorts. To be honest. I don't quite entirely love how the pieces are being brought together. In a way, they should balance out, but they just stick out. Its not the color, I LOVE COLORS. Its just something thats not quite right about the outfit. Its kind of clashy. Like how the shoes are high but not too high clashes with the shorts because the shoes are so heavy, and the outfit's almost too simple. Its like you're surrounding the attention on your shoes, when your outfit should go hand in hand, and not stick out so abruptly in one place, or maybe that's the look some people are going for, but I don't quite get/see it.

I do want my own Doc Martens. I do admire them, but just not how their paired. Doc Martens are gonna take the trend wind by a swift whoosh! So catch them in time if you want the IN, or be like me, and get them whenever, cause you can never go out of your own style. Its YOURS!

Here are a couple Doc Martens I love you may consider getting yourself!

I thought these were really beautiful colors that swirl together, but I didn't really love the heels. I thought it could've been a wedge or something, but not a real visible heel. The colors are however, extremely matchable with nearly any dark shades for clothes. Best for winters and autumns.

I love the floral yet vintage feel to this one, certainly something I would consider in my choices of Doc Martens. It reminds me of wallpaper patterns, which worries me, cause once they're matched wrongly, it becomes sort of an eyesore, but the dullness of the color is a bonus that softens the patterns. Dull = GOOD in this case.

Do not tell me you don't love this!!! Everything about it say DIVA. From the gold to the lace, to the.. Okay it's just the GOLD. I mean, who doesn't lovelove GOLD? GOLDIVA! Hah!
This simply reminds me of ice and hockey skates, so I simply HAD to put it here. I totally thing Doc Martens should make hockey skates. It would be soooo IN! or not, but I still think its cool!

Aside from the Invasion of the Martens, I've been really into big fluffy things you wrap around your body. Yep, you've guessed it! A BATHROBE, or ROBE, or simply. SLEEPWEAR in general.
I've been wearing a fluffy white and pink Hello Kitty bathrobe because I'm cold, and it simply is oh so comfortable! So these are my picks, and also somewhat what I want,

Let's start with the Night Wears I simply love.

I've not chosen any nightgowns because right now, I'm focusing on everything Juicy Couture. I know many people love those kinds of translucent and airy and almost transparent nightgowns or negligee. I like them too, but I'm 15 years old, and I really like airy comfortable clothes that don't freeze me to death in an air-conditioned room. I will definitely buy the nightdress with the big word JUICY. It's just so comfortable looking, I like it. If I have spare cash, maybe I'll buy the middle pajamas. Its so cute and patterned with eyelashes. The last one is the Dot-Charm pants. Its definitely a must have for a sleepover. Its just so bright It'd be utterly beautiful in pictures.

Moving on to the robes, the highlight of this Sleepwear.

Ralph Lauren Short Terry Robe. I WANT WANT WANT!

Monogrammed

Original Pony

I personally can't pick which I like more. Pink or White, Monogrammed or Pony-fied. Which would YOU like???

Juicy Couture's picks... (These are ALL the Robes I found on JCouture, so..)

So honestly, I love the first one, pale pink. They all look simply comfortable don't they??? I think I would settle with Ralph and tell him I'm gonna buy him. The robe I mean. Its so funny that so little brands have any wide range of bathrobes at all. They should cater to all needs. Don't you think?

----------------------------------FOLLOWERS!!--------------------------------------

Yes! I have 2 Followers!!! I'm so happy at least some people are reading my blog. (: Hopefully. I don't think I could have done it without Google, and Teen Vogue, and a lot of inspiration from anyone and everyone and anything. I now know how Youtube Gurus feel when they have subscribers. No matter how little, how few, it just feels nice to know someone took the liberty to click the follow button, showing that they do want to read next time, whether they do or not, is a totally different thing, its just really nice and comforting. Like how facebook is an ego booster to narcissists, having followers is like my own little powerhouse of inspiration. Something I look forward to nearly always when I post. Its like I've reached out to someone I don't even know, and it just feels nice.

Having your first follower is a massive thing if you've just started out your blog. Some people post for years, but nobody follows, and that, in my opinion, is quite sad. Every writer has a reason for starting out a blog. They are not simply BLOGGERS, they are writers. Every inch of their finger tips is filled with a writer's vibe to type, write and reach out.

I have let this blog remain anonymous because I want to reach out and connect with more than just people I know. I want people with the same deep interests, and the same feelings about situations, or different, to see me. To see my point. A blog is when you write your inner thoughts, feelings, maybe daily activities, but thats entirely up to a person. I just write what I feel of, about, towards, for, from at that moment.

The best thing about blogging next to the 'reaching out' part, is that there is simply no rules at all. Who wouldn't want a blog, if that's how simple it can be?? I know that's reason number 2 for starting a blog.

So here are my 10 reason of why I blog.
1. To reach out to people of different country and opinions
2. There is no rules or must-do books. (As long as under your country's law there is an exception of defamation etc.)
3. Now that I have followers (This goes under number 1 too!), to motivate my followers in one way or another.
4. To discuss my random views with random people who randomly chance upon this little self expression of a blog.
5. To prove to not only others, but myself, that there's more to me than me.
6. To comment, critique and write.
7. To practice my writing skills, and perhaps go somewhere far.
8. Cultivate my interest in journalism and editorial, though I don't know how editorial can come under this.
9. To make something out of nothing.
10. blogging with no personal family-friend support.

Through it all, I think I've grown a little each time I blog, like putting a piece of me out there for the world to see, and I learn from others too.

I want to thank peaceloveandconverse170 whether you know me or not, and Dani for being my first 2 followers respectively, but because of you two, regardless, I've been spurred to work harder, and write my thoughts better. If thats even possible. Anywho, smiley for yous! (:

Alize inz Wonzerland ft Blues

Though this is really old news for a couple, I figured it'd be something I would love to write about. Every writing has its meaning, and this means Alice!

Alice in Wonderland is the newest talk right after the show Avatar because of the massive graphics that are made to appear real, the infusion of reality and graphics, makes everything all the more beautiful and more interesting to look at, be it comments on the bad graphics or gushes of 'EHMAGAHH! IT'S AWESOME!', we all look forward to the science in movies in some ways.

Alice in wonderland ( Spoiler Alert!: Full Synopsis ) is like how everyone knows the story, about Alice, in Wonderland, A little girl who falls into a hole, and arrives in a world of illustrious imaginations beyond one's mind, and the story unravels into a deep abyss of more mysterious and less childish plot of a story. That is what made Alice in wonderland, so appealing as a story. I however, am rather disappointed with the show. The story fills up to the brim of the climax, the hanging moment where everyone is waiting for a twist. Then, it falls flat. Flatter than a dog trying to sing rhythm and blues. Yes, THAT flat.

Everything was so predictable, it had no UMPH. No OH DEAR! and No EHMA!!! It was just, HAHAHAHA look at that cat, Hatter, Big Head Lady. It was classic hilarious with not zest. It was really disappointing. I don't think the 3D would make a difference.

However, this has inspired me to look deeper into fashion and art of the classics. After all, graphics can only go as far as its reality, and colors.
A Vogue Shoot

Adapted from TeenVogue.com

I LOVE THE COLORS.

Don't you? It is simply gorgeous. The striking colors and crazy patterns. The strength and flow, and how vibrant it is. I for one, am a fan for mad SOLID colors. It just says so much without the massive glitter or jewels. It is just AMAZING. Even with accessories, the color didn't JUST STAND out, it POPPED out. I just really really really LOVED the colors in the show, shoot, whatever it is with this Alice thing, it was the COLORS for me.

It is just beautiful how colors can swirl together to make a piece of art, like wise for clothes, how different colors come together, to emphasize ONE color. It is art, skill and a lot of imagination. Something only the weird and mad people are capable off. Hah! Quoting Alice's Dad "I think you've gone absolutely mad and bonkers, but all brilliant people are" So yes, brilliance is the madness.

Just for some streetstyle that I feel mimics the art of Alice, being Almost but not Absolutely Alice.

All these dresses are from Miss Selfridge. They are pieces that inspire and remind me of Alice In Wonderland. Notice the difference? The top four are Bright colors, solid with little contrast, but the bottom is a mass of dark colored/shades of dresses that too remind me of Alice. They are pieces that can be worn nearly anytime, you can never go wrong with a properly thought out dark colored dress, so these are easier to match, and more practical for a down to earth wardrobe you want to spice up. I love colors, but its how the colors compliment each other that really strikes the whole outfit. My favourite would have to be the first 3 on the bottom row, especially the checkered one, since pleats are really "IN" right now, it is a greater alternative than boyfriend and Daddy's shirts. Yes, my sister steals my father's shirt sometimes, just food for thought!

Okay, I've been at this post for a pretty long time simply because I was OBSESSED with my guitar. I got it for Christmas 2 years back, when on and off playing it, but never REALLY learned, so I'm taking lessons from my musically talented daddy dearest, and maybe try to play a song or 2. Please DO NOT tease your friends who've JUST started out guitar, its HARDER than it looks. You can't play a song first, then learn. Its purely tedious step by step unlike the piano. Anywho, if you have any cool BLUES songs that you think is worth learning and playing, please let me know! I love BLUES, maybe I'd do a whole fashion take on the 1930s Memphis Blues. Its simply inspirational!

So here's a little blues for you if you want to hear... BB King, awesome Blues dude!

and the woman of blues I discovered, and vow to learn to play this song... Memphis Minnie! (My sister said this was annoying, but I don't care!)

Song I was inspired by, is none other than KT Tunstall!

Oh yea! See the Youtube It! at the side?? You can totally search and play whichever song you like from whichever PERSON you like and listen while reading. Rather than the simple I choose an annoying song you may not like, and play it forever while you read this, and you would be totally annoyed and never come back again just to avoid the music.

Gomez in Style

If you're a Disney fan, or a Selena Gomez fan, you've probably came across links that lead you to one of her latest hit-to-be Naturally. A song about the natural relationship between to people, in this case, probably a guy and a girl. A typical pop song, with a pretty radical twist.I am not a big fan of hers, just a fellow spectator who really admire her work and job. Maybe you would consider that a fan, but, it really is up to anyone to decide how they view a fan as. Selena has been featured in Teen Vogue once last year, I believe it to be one of the sweetest covers I have seen on Teen Vogue, a floral feel to the whole cover.

Like how a magazine cover depicts the peaking of a model's career, especially those on well known magazines like Vogue, Teen Vogue, Lucky and Seventeen. These are magazines that most people read, women in general, and most of which there are solo covers. Unlike celebrity magazines like Us Weekly, Tiger Bop and J-14, these magazines have more than just the latest celebrity gossips and tabloids. These magazine actually have substance sometimes. They are of course my favorites as they provide a wide range to piece a fashion picture together, from pricey to literally price-less, and, they have short interviews and autobiographies of some of my favorite mentors and examples I look up to like Dakota Fanning and Chanel Iman,

Therefore, like models and actresses alike, Selena Gomez has appeared to be one of the celebrity fashion models I do appreciate. She has appeared to be quite the Disney baby, and when she popped out of her shell into this fully fledged independent teen, I am in awe, and absolutely loving it. Before I move on to how this music video Naturally has anything to do with what I'm saying, please do watch.

I love the couture runway vibe she gave with the big accessory (gold beady necklace) and a simple black dress with an "Umph" toward the end, the look was simply gorgeous with the exploding pop of red color she wears on her legs. Pause at 0:22, and you would totally understand why I dig the whole look. It is a pretty dainty painting. The rayban was paired with pretty dangling earrings with detail. The plainness of the rayban was balanced with the intricate and delicate vibe of the earrings, it goes to show, a little DOES go a very long way. 0:27 depicts Selena in a white sleeveless top that has such pretty embellishments along her shoulder line, really defining her bone structure, and with what appears to be stockings. leggings, or leather stockings, paired with the same high heels. It is strong yet vulnerable. I did not however totally love the pink dress with the pretty gold necklace. The sheer of the dress just feels like it clashes with the focus of the necklace, like two totally different pieces in their own right, fighting for the attention of the eyes, yet go so well on their own. So there, the amazing pieced together fashion/music goes hand in hand in this video. At least for those who feast on the art before them.

I am not a major fan of Disney, but I did somewhat grew up watching it. So, I guess, Disney isn't actually a brainwasher, I've stopped flipping to the channel altogether, and the shows are getting somewhat boring, I guess I grew up, we all do, but in some small way, Disney did play its part, and this is my small way of saying "Its time to let go, even the Disney Stars are doing so"

So if you enjoyed the highly addictive song, perhaps you would care for one more Disney Food of Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato in Make A Wave. A very touching song in my opinion, yet, it could have a better match for Demi. My apologies to the Jonas fans, but I just think it could be a song between friends, Like Selena and Demi (Not that I am biased), or perhaps the singers of USA for Haiti. It would have a terribly deeper meaning in the utmost best way. Don't you think?

Cozy little Corner

I'm sitting in my corner,
Cozy as can be,
So many thoughts run through my mind,
so messy, Like me.

I think about a poem,
I write in a spur of time,
This is the very poem,
of so which would rhyme.

This poem has no meaning,
nothing deep I think,
but all the cozy little things,
when in this cozy chair I sink.

I think about what happened,
what is to pass and come,
I think about the Haiti,
and Chile, like most ones.

In this cozy corner,
An arm chair and my computer,
I type away on this keyboard,
With nothing I will filter.

I think of Macbook and Iphones,
the things that I do want,
I think of Fashion and Music,
Objects under the sun.

Oh in this cozy corner,
A bathrobe around me,
my freezing little body,
wrapped in hello kitty.

Oh if you see this poem,
You know how bored I am,
that I am churning out randoms,
of nothing that I've planned.

This leaves from my fingertips,
my very thoughts, the word.
This poem has no point,
now you may think, absurd!

If you have read this poem,
right to this very line,
then stay in tune for more to come,
this cozy corner of mine.

I have not finished what to say,
there's so much more I've left,
I don't know what to rhyme with that,
my brain's saying theft.

In this cozy corner,
I'm randoming this post.
When all I want to do right now,
is watch an episode.

Of what? You may ask,
Nothing more that I obsess,
Dramas, Serials, name it all,
I will past the tv test.

I'm watching Bones right now,
A crime serial show,
If you have watched it once before,
do let me know.

I have more interests,
then you will ever know.
I dare you to question me,
my answers, will be in tow.

I'm thinking of June,
where my birthday lies,
where I may get a Macbook,
and video all my life.

Now that's a silly thought,
but I do have these 'thinks',
that all I really really need,
is all my lovely things.

But there's much more to me,
than you will understand,
So much flaws and negatives,
can be swiped with one hand.

The big hand of my God,
I love him, Yes I do!
It may come as a surprise,
but I know you love him too! (For christians)

This is tons of words,
so much I'd never thought I'd type,
but stress calls for help,
so I let out with this kind of hype.

This Cozy little Corner,
a fine resting place,
to ease my weird, messy mind,
and smack it in this space.

This Cozy little Corner,
derived from my dear bathrobe,
this table and computer,
and little little rain drops.

This Cozy little Corner,
made its first debut,
on a random blog post,
with no readers, but you.

So I end this dear poem,
as reluctant as I can be,
but understand my cravings,
to watch some teevee.

Goodbye for now you reader,
I hope you enjoyed it much.
This ball of random rubbish,
please keep it in your heart.

Non-fashioned

Dear All who reads what may be read,

I have encountered a series of stupidity today. It so happened I may have offended the supposedly 'biggest' school bully of the year in my most bimbo way. My friend was telling me some stupid stuff about the girl, and started being all hushed. Little did I know, that very girl cut my queue. I was fine with it, since a billion people cut  queues, but I ever so stupidly opened my big little mouth and made the loudest comment I could about it. To be honest, I didn't even know it was her. I'm not the type who points at bullies and gapes and gawks. I just don't want to be bothered by bullies in school. I don't gossip about her latest deeds, I CAN'T BE BOTHERED. It's stupid how much people make fuss over a really small thing, I mean, we don't know each other, and are not related in anyway besides by a large student body who attends the same school, so we're not friends, and I don't get why I should bother commenting about you.

The misunderstanding is that you have a very common name, and I didn't know your name was your name. So bite me for being 'blur', sue for letting out the loudest comment, and kill me for such a small matter. It's childish. I hear threatening warnings, but seriously, you get so worked up because you've been showed who's who by someone of a higher authority (Not me)? What has become of the maturity level in the world of teenagers today? I've been hearing students feeling a teacher's punishment ridiculous, but seriously, if you've not handed up your homework, is she suppose to 'request' for it nicely and not scold you? In that case, she's not a teacher at all. You did something wrong, you deserve too face the consequence, baby logic.

Maybe its just cause I'm pissed (probably partially scared) that I'm saying this, but what the chicken wings! I shall just ignore your very existence regardless.

I AM afraid I don't care, and that would further add to misunderstandings I don't WANT to care about. So bite me, you're nothing but a child.

Oscars Smoshcars!

The Oscars are here, and like anyone who loves movies, and especially fashion, they would totally watch the Oscars. Reason being, it's sort of 'Glory Night' for actors and actresses, and whether they get the Oscars or are even nominated, they would still want to safe their face by looking good, in a way, feeling good.

Who wouldn't run the extra mile to look good on a night to remember? I would. I personally feel the Oscar, is an elite runway, and the actors and actresses, unprofessional models. Ironic much? Yet, the Oscar never fails to surprise, dismay, EHMA!!! and GOODNESS!! anyone who watches. The peak of the Oscars? The Red Carpet.

Remember, all photographs and pictures of celebrities are solely from the Oscar's Website for the different academy awards, and not the latest, I will however, discuss the latest soon I do not own, or take any of the following pictures unless otherwise stated. This is merely a discussion of the pieces, and a promotion of the Oscars.
Amy Adams at the 81st in a stunning Carolina Herrera Dress,
accessorized with a multi collared colored necklace by Fred Leighton

I am undeniably amazed by Amy's choice of clothes, it is simply gorgeous on her porcelain white skin. I love the structure of the dress, the lines and the subtle bustier, she could have paired it with a translucent shawl, but it still looks lovely. She wears the dress beautifully, and I liked that she accessorized it with the colored necklace. However, I thought it would have been nicer if she had paired it with a pair of Bvulgari Cocktail earrings with a green or purple colour, or a nice ruby necklace to emphasize the red in her outfit.

Beyonce at the 77th in a  Atelier Versace black silk velvet strapless "Siren" gown.
Paired with silver mesh earrings.

Beyonce is one of my favourite singers, and like her signature voice, she certainly make gowns her signature look for red carpet events. I love love love this dress. She could do know wrong with this dress. It is the perfect Little Long Black Dress! It has such a sheen to it, and makes her look much more pristine in contrast to the dress. I would however suggest she let loose her hair a little since her upper body look so 'neat' (Her clear collar bone and shoulder).

Maybe these few hairstyles (Solely obtained from Google search, links to sites included)...

I personally prefer the second from the left. The tight pony tail emphasizes her sharp features, yet her loose curls shows a little playful elegance. It's cheeky, but not too much. Sometimes, actresses over do their looks. Their either too formal, or too revealing. I personally like covered most, cause I believe that a true fashion junkie, can find a million ways to dress up or down, and never revealing too much of her body. That is the real skill.

Heads up people, those are my two all time favorite dresses, but here comes the sweetest, latest 82nd Academy Awards ones.

This has got to be the most gorgeous gown I've ever seen on anyone. She appears to look so nymph-like with porcelain white skin, and blonde hair. The emphasis becomes on the gown, not her, and she carries the dress so well, I am in love with it. The structured bust to waist accentuates curves very nicely, yet the ruffles and frills from hip down gives off a very flexible vibe, a contrasting gown is always hard to pull off, but this is the most perfect, simple yet beautiful 'fairytale runway' to real life I have ever seen. I know water nymphs have long flowy hair, but this is simply perfect, a pulled back bun. It could be flowy, but then she'll look like she's not trying at all. I am simply awestruck. Really. As much as people might think she looks pale, she has a healthy glow, and its a good thing she's not dead skinny. She is simply like a real life water nymph who stepped onto the red carpet. Beautiful.

I know many would criticize her bad posture, but I assume it's a way she tries to 'protrude'  her collar bones, given the illusion of a skinnier her, but arms don't lie, also, the tan lines should have been re-tanned? I really think the dress would look much more beautiful on her than it did itself if she carried her self more properly. The beautiful cream white color is a very beautifully embellished color. It may make her seem classier, but given her age, and the audience she entertains, I would appreciate a rather more girly demure dress. A PG version of this dress would be with slightly higher than where it rests on her bust, instead of showing too much cleavage. I can imagine a flowy satin sleeve, or a short satin sleeve.  I like how she used the hand accessory, it really matched, and gives an 'oomph' without being too much. I know some people think she's a little too young to be a little too classy, but classy cans start from any age, anytime, and if she wore a timeless princess dress (not too fairytale-like of course) she would definitely stand out, but I guess she's deviating from the normal Disney chic stuff.

Paired with hoop earrings.

I personally love the look as a whole, the stunning dress on a beautiful woman, unlike the above few who portrayed a classy and more strongly sophisticated gown, this has got to be the sweetest look. Cameron Diaz, a blonde bombshell in an exquisite bronze-goldish dress. Her side swept hair is so care free, and looks as if she threw on the dress and just drove out of the house in a convertible. This Charlie's Angel reminds me of a modern Monroe with the class of a Hepburn. Simply one in a million.

As you can quite see, I love bright solid colors. Although sequined gowns are stunning, literally, I still love the simplicity of a dress, and the drawing of the deep color. I feel, that colors play much a part. Like I said, is the world were a painting, fashion would be the colors.

I would love to go on and on and on and on about fashion, but I do have a competition tomorrow, and I do have a few episodes of  the latest season of Bones. Yes, I do have another life besides fashion. I do like to watch other non-fashion related episodes. I tell those who know me I have an alter ego, and being the blogger of this blog is it, but for now, I have to switch to Dr Jekyll now, and also research on the Mary Celeste, some ship story I find interesting.

The Oscar has been an interesting deviation from Fashion Week, but it is in it's own way, Fashion Day. I love the colors, the cut and the accessories. How bout you? Do you like it as much as I do, or is fashion a chore for you?

For those who haven't gotten enough of fashion simply watch the video below, or click here or here or here or E!

Dear Nobody,

I finally figured things out. One thing's for sure. Tangles aren't only in a boy girl relationship, its in friendships too. How funny is that? I still want to study overseas or be homeschooled. Now ain't that cool?

Tres Tres Tiffany's

I was just done with Breakfast at Tiffany's, okay, maybe half done? But I'd get to the end one way or another. Given my insistence on how 'important' fashion is, girls who are as 'junkie' as me, would probably think 'WHAT? YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A FASHION JUNKIE?'

My reply to that would be.. "Why stereotype the beginning, the culture of fashion with that show?" Fashion could start from the very day cavemen wore clothes. (Though, I don't really believe in the whole cavemen deal.) I really did not get the show as well, I know the basic story line, but I don't understand the plot the whole movie is revolving around. I guess, it is a joy to watch for some because of the constant socialite aura Audrey Hepburn gives off, but I totally dig Holly Golightly's fashion sense too. That's where the Little Black Dress, I believe, originated from, NOT fashion.

Holly Golightly's carefree style is simply the kind of aura females of today would like to give off with whatever they wear. The easiness she throws on a dress, and the pure focus in her eyes is simply beautiful. How can I deny that? Despite her messy and disapproving smoking, drinking and flirty habits, she is still a walking muse. Therefore, I conclude that Miss Golightly, is officially my inspiration for the aura I want to give off.

So the other day, I was at Vivo City, a fine shopping center in Singapore, and I was eating at No Signboard Restaurant, a well known seafood restaurant for my mom's birthday, apparently, she prefers eating at the one in Geylang, personally a place I do not entirely enjoy, or been to often. Click here for more info on Geylang, Singapore. The food there was simply EH-mazing. I love pepper crab a lot, so I guess that's why. It was really a filling dinner.
The plain dress and the funky restaurant carpets.

When it came to the second last dish before the dessert, there were fireworks quite promptly in view. They were from Sentosa, probably some celebration for the Resorts World Sentosa, regardless, it was beautiful, so I ran out to get a look.

To my dismay, the fireworks stopped the moment I got near enough to have a full view of Sentosa. I began snapping pictures with the background as scenery, but none of them were never nice/good/anonymous enough to be considered THE picture. THE first picture I would post on this BUHlog. This was IT.
Looking out onto the world as I climb the stairs of life.
Lit to the top.
It was the most beautiful yet undefined shot taken with my LG Prada (I am not boasting in anyway, this phone is not worth the price, even worse, I don't OWN a camera!) I like taking photos, but I've never been quite good at a nice ME angle, or what tweens and teens today call 'CAMWHORE', but I would get better.

Maybe you haven't noticed why I picked this picture. It was a casual dinner actually, my sister wore knee length shorts! Everyone was informal xcept me. My purpose? To take a picture of my one in a million perfectly loved outfit. Yes, yes, it's nothing much. Just a plain dress, stockings and black platforms.

It ISN'T much, but it is the one of the very few clothes selections I love when put together, and the angle of the feet is the bonus! I didn't even know I was doing that!

After that overlooking of  'Ze world beforez meez', I went to MNG. YEP. The made for average females retail outlet (Not that average females are bad, I just meant that It would not be those high end stuff most people would be on the edge of their seats to read). I saw this beautiful plaid nearly-knee length dress. It was the most outrageously wanted dress on my list of impulse love.

I didn't buy it of course. My dad promised me a spree sometime next month, and I'm saving for my dream wallet, so as impulsive as I tend to get, I refrain as best as I cant. It is this beautiful long sleeve boyfriend-tee-like dress. It goes well with black stockings (Have you realized my obsession with stockings?).

So yep, basically, come to Vivo City whether you're a foreigner or not. It has so much fun stuff, but do get a good look at the map. After going there nearly more than 50 times, I still get lost. Like Ion, but that's a whole other story.

Yours.

Dear No one,

I am quite sad. It is evident that no one quite gets the humor I have. Nobody really knows my stuff. Nobody GETS ME! It's so miserable seeing how so many popular people with a good life, can have good friends. I don't. Sometimes, it feels like everyone's left me, and when I'm gone, they'll just carry on. They won't mourn. They'll just gasp and wish my family members how sorry they are or something. This really sucks.

I want to be home schooled in Singapore.
I want to have friends who GET me.
I want to have good friends who would STAY friends for like life!
I want the impossible.

Sighing,
Me
